Employer 'is deducting recruiting expenses' - Gulf News: Under no circumstances should employees pay for their work permits, said Ahmad Darwish Al Hosni, director of the Labour Relations Department. All embassies, especially Asian and Arab embassies, he said, should alert their citizens and tell them they should not pay for their labour and health cards. The ministry will ask to see the salary statements for the six workers, Al Hosni said, before demanding anything from the employer. "Up till now, we have no proof the money has been deducted from the workers."
