TaxProf Blog: Law school lets conservative prof teach con law after outside panel attests to his competence :: TaxProf

I may sympathize with his conservative slant, but I don't sympathize with his assertion of any right to teach a specific course. His employer should be able to decide how they want to use his services.

If he doesn't like what is offered he has the option of leaving and seeking employment elsewhere.

Besides, why would you want to work in an environment where you clearly do not get along with the administration?

Good pay.

A few colleagues who are a joy to be with.

Your spouse has a really decent job s/he doesn't want to leave.

Your ex-spouse has rights to the children, meaning you would have to leave them if you move.

Fabulous library and other facilities.

You like the role of martyr.
