Health service 'in desperate need of nurses' - Gulf News

It's hard to exaggerate the amount of ink that’s been spilled annually in the developed world, in the press and in research journals, over the problem of the shortage of nurses. But there can’t be a persistent shortage or a desperate need unless employers are not paying nurses enough to attract their services.

It is good to read that nationals are taking up the nursing profession. It will be interesting to see whether this is a job category where UAE nationals become represented in proportion to their percentage of the population.
