Help! My Dixie Cup (R) can't absorb the firehose torrent of great postings today from fellow economists around the globe.
Phil Miller at Minnesota State University in Mankato has a great reflection on the social handicaps of economists. As a class we are in desperate need of state assistance. Is anyone more deserving of state aid for social development? I think not.
But.
Phil and King (see my prior posting) have neglected to link to my posting of not so long ago, "Caution: Economics is Hazardous to Your Social Acceptability." All credit for the content of that posting, however, goes to the famous economist duo of Alchian & Allen.
