Phrase of the week

If I had a dollar for every time I heard Oman called the "Sleepy Sultanate" I'd have enough quite a few dollars. In the last few days its been used by Reuters (twice), Foreign Policy, the Irish Times, AOL News, and the Financial Times. And those are just the ones I've stumbled on without a focused search.

If you google "sleepy sultanate" Oman you get about 5,100 results.

If you confine your google search to the last week you get about 19,400 results. [I have no idea why restricting the time period increases the number of results.]
