While we often think of unethical behavior on the part of employers and recruiters of low wage ex pats, the behavior on other other side can be questionable as well. Families often push weaker members of the family into taking jobs overseas, and participate in giving recruiters a distorted picture of the recruit's health and abilities.

Of course this sort of behavior is not confined to the low wage sector.
